PERIPHERAL INTERVENTION
PERIPHERAL INTERVENTION
PERIPHERAL INTERVENTION
With the continuous development of peripheral interventional surgery technology and the continuous innovation of precision medical catheter technology, both will be applied and promoted in more fields. For example, in the treatment of oncologic diseases, peripheral interventional surgery can deliver chemotherapy drugs directly to the tumor site through a catheter for targeted therapy; In the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, angioplasty, stent implantation and other minimally invasive treatments can be performed through catheters. These applications will further expand the cooperation field and application prospect between peripheral intervention and precision medical catheter.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
Angiographic catheter
Before peripheral interventional treatment, doctors usually use angiography catheter to perform angiography to identify the lesion site, the degree of vascular stenosis and collateral circulation, and provide evidence for the formulation of treatment plans. During treatment, imaging catheters can also be used to monitor the effect of treatment, such as assessing the patency of blood vessels after balloon dilation or stent implantation.
Balloon catheter
For peripheral vascular stenosis or occlusion, physicians often choose to dilate with balloon catheters. Guided by a guide wire and a contrast catheter, a balloon catheter is sent to the site of the lesion and then dilates the narrow blood vessels by injecting fluid or gas into the balloon to inflate it. In some cases, balloon catheters can also be used to assist implantation of stents. After the balloon dilates, the doctor can deliver the stent to the lesion site and release it to support the blood vessel wall and prevent the blood vessel from narrowing again.
